Drainage Fire insulation systems for outdoor use
All fire insulating structural elements for outdoor drains have an intumescent lining that swells up when exposed to a temperature exceeding approx. 150°C. The volume of the material increases approx. 15/20-fold. This seals off the roof or ceiling feed-through quickly, reliably and safely.

Dallmer – the guaranteed best choice: New shower trap ORIO DallBox
As a drainage specialist, Dallmer boasts various solutions in its product portfolio which drain water from different building areas. The ORIO DallBox shower trap is an innovation for bathrooms. It is a further development of the tried-and-tested Dallmer ORIO system which has been enhanced to include a sealing sleeve with a Flex element. This brings with it multiple advantages in terms of maintenance as well as inspection and adjustment options. The Arnsberg-based family business will be presenting the new ORIO DallBox, which is used in shallow mineral cast trays, at ISH digital 2021 for the first time. The complete ORIO DallBox will be available in two versions as of early summer 2021.
The new ORIO DallBox shower trap from Dallmer is suitable for cast mineral trays which are in direct contact with the screed, i.e., without a frame. A solution which makes work for planners in commercial construction easy, fast and safe. The new, elastic Flex element is the central component of the shower trap. It compensates for deviations on the sides caused by dimensional inaccuracies between the drain body and the shower tray by up to 2 cm from the centre in any horizontal direction. Thanks to the click mechanism, the Flex element can be clicked into the screw valve plus union nut, rendering the system both tight and secure. The Flex element can be easily detached from the connection to check for moisture build-up below the tray at a later date. In accordance with DIN 18534, the moulded-on, wrinkle-free sealing sleeve is incorporated into the bonded waterproofing. Easy installation of the ORIO DallBox is guaranteed due, in part, to the acoustically decoupled, height-adjustable levelling feet.
Safe and clean
The packaging of the ORIO DallBox shower trap from Dallmer is designed with the respective construction phases in mind. As such, the interfaces between the trades are clearly defined and coordination is easier. The two-piece odour trap can be completely removed for simple cleaning and also guarantees optimum hygiene and easy access to the wastewater pipe. The system features two cover plates for the perfect visual finishing touch: Stainless steel or chrome-plated plastic.
The ORIO DallBox will be available from early summer 2021.
